Ross Sabes, lead design and programmer of websitedesignby.com, has been developing web sites and database driven applications since 1996.

History

In 1994 Ross moved to Naples Florida to assist with managing a local modern art gallery. Armed with one of the first consumer digital cameras and FileMaker Pro database software, Ross developed a custom art collection and gallery management software to assist with keeping track of important works of art. This idea transitioned into developing custom database applications for other art galleries and industries.

In 1997 Ross started his own media company Ad Media Concepts which was later named Ad Design Concepts.

I really enjoyed being self-employed however after 9 years I began realizing I had spread myself too thin and was unable to keep up or grow the business to deliver the quality of work my clients had come to expect.

In 2005 Ross accepted a position at 4What Interactive as a technology integration specialist. For 3 years he developed custom Flash, XML, PHP and database applications for 4What Interactive.

I wanted the experience of working with a team. My experience at 4What Interactive proved invaluable. I have nothing but respect for the team at 4What Interactive and the work they produce.

The recent explosion of social networks and marketing led Ross to use his knowledge to explore ways he can help organizations communicate their message through social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.

• Plan, manage, execute, test and document sophisticated large-scale projects integrating multiple technologies.
• Identify potential challenges during the planning phase of the development life-cycle and provide effective strategies and solutions.
• Deliver attractive and easy-to-use front end GUI with sophisticated back-end applications for tracking, commerce or registration.
